RETURN PATIENTS: For follow up appointments please book a “PELVIC HEALTH SUBSEQUENT VISIT”. These visits can be booked online OR via the clinic. Contact the clinic via phone or email if you can’t find a time that works for you.

ALL bookings require a credit card be placed on file. Credit card numbers are safely encrypted and protected.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Your appointment time is reserved just for you, please give 24 hours notice if you can’t attend your session. Cancellations with less than 24 hrs notice are subject to a fee of $50. Telehealth video sessions are available as an alternative to in-person sessions and are a great alternative if you can’t find childcare.

PARKING: We have FREE parking on the street or in the driveway as long as your vehicle isn’t blocking any other vehicles. Easy accessible parking is also available nearby at Jack Robertson Park.

These are IN PERSON 1:1 appointments focusing on pelvic floor health. Pelvic health physiotherapists are Registered Physiotherapists who are specially trained to internally assess the musculature and soft tissues within the pelvis. In addition to assessing the pelvic floor tissues a comprehensive orthopedic evaluation is completed.

For people who identify as female these treatments are for conditions such as: urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse, pelvic pain, vaginal pain, diastasis recti (abdominal separation), core strengthening/exercise prescription during/after pregnancy, preparation for optimal labour/delivery, post-surgical care after pelvic surgery related to cancer treatment, hysterectomies, c-sections, hernias and gender reassignment surgeries.

Nanci has traveled through many circles in her physiotherapy career. This experience and her passion to optimize each patient’s ability to return to their desired level of activity can be felt immediately upon your fist meeting. Having been an owner of a physiotherapy clinic (Port Credit Physiotherapy 2003-2013) has enhanced her experiences, and her many post graduate courses have helped developed a broader perspective. Some of these courses include Physical Therapy Approach to Female and Male Incontinence, Pelvic Pain & Pelvic Floor Dysfunction in Pregnancy; Ano-Rectal Disorders; Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy in Pediatrics; Orthopaedic Manual Therapy; Assessment and Treatment of the Injured Runner; and FitFore Golf. Her practical experience to managing injuries and the injured patient grew through her active involvement in sports (figure skating, triathlon - 5-time Ironman finisher including Hawaii, running, cycling, skiing and Pilates) as well as her own experiences of pregnancy and post-natal recovery.

Nanci completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 1997. This was against the backdrop of a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor (1992). In 2013, Nanci, her husband and 2 daughters moved to Kelowna to embrace and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle of the Okanagan.

Paulina graduated from the University of Toronto in 2019 with a Master’s in Physical Therapy. Since then, she has completed additional courses such as the Physical Approach to Female and Male Incontinence, Introduction to Soft Tissue Release, and Manual Therapy Level 1. Paulina uses a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, exercise, and education with her clients. She is also a 200-hour Certified Yoga Instructor and likes incorporating yoga poses and techniques into her treatment sessions and exercise programs. Outside of work hours she can be found reading, doing yoga, rock climbing, hiking, skiing, or paddleboarding to her heart’s content.

Corinne Wade is the owner of Kare Physio and is an expert pelvic floor physiotherapist who has been specializing in pelvic floor physiotherapy for close to 30 years. She treats men and women with pelvic floor dysfunction. She treats conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and/or fecal incontinence, pelvic pain and has a specialized interest in treating sexual health concerns such as pain during intercourse, erectile dysfunction or inability to achieve orgasm. Corinne also worked for many years as a sports physio so she has a keen interest in fitness, core strength and helping women optimize their core strength before, during and after pregnancy. Corinne loves pilates and is an avid runner.
